In their second single, ‘Time’, Haulm’s expansive sound design melds airy pads, plucking bells and deconstructed breaks. A mellow downtempo mood gives way to stabbing pads and looping vocals as the track veers towards house and crescendos with Norton repeating ‘I’m always on time’ as a driving, 4-on-the-floor groove propels the song forward.

‘Time’ is a song that dabbles in delusion, where the narrator is accusatory but simultaneously in denial. Nobody is ever really on time, and for what? This song also paints a portrait of where Kackley and Norton feel comfortable in their song styles – toying with the meeting of somber pop and 90’s rave.
