On his new single ‘Believe’, Giuseppe Lanni teams up with fellow Montreal-based artists Sterling Grove and ORCHID. ORCHID is the newly created electronic/dance-focused moniker of singer/songwriter Ellyn Woods and this release marks her first under the new alias. While she is a familiar voice atop Sterling Grove’s music, this is the first collaboration between all three. With Lanni at the helm, incisive percussion and a driving bassline push the track along while ORCHID’s airy vocals float in and out. Ambience abounds as stabbing synths and pianos puncture the sustained groove.
