BAILE’s 3rd volume of Ambient Selections attempts to channel springtime in upstate New York. The villages are thawing and the bitter cold is giving way to warmth – lagging behind most of the US, but warmth comes nonetheless. There’s a joy in it but a bittersweet memory of snowfall and the rivers and lakes freezing over. 

Pianos scatter and cascade as synths swell and glitch across the soundscape in the lead single ‘Heaven in Time’. The piece was written as an ode to the morning and glimpsing the sun as it first peaks over the horizon – it feels like catching a glance at heaven.
