Karma Response

Eclectic electronic producer Nuage closes out another busy year with a pair of chill dance tracks. The A-side, ‘Karma Response’, with LA-based vocalist Jakke, features delicate synth work alongside intimate vocals. Uncertainty is juxtaposed against an optimistic backdrop – “Goin around n round we go, holding a pattern, turning slow, Face the ground, I plant my hope to break the cycle”, Jakke emotes, searching for  a fresh start.

‘Isolated’, the B-side, finds Nuage in familiar terrain. Bouncy, stuttering synths sit atop a hypnotic beat as moody pads ebb and flow. An arpeggio swells in as harmonics shift atop the lead synths.
