‘Red Line’ began as a demo by Fractures that was reworked into a clubbier interpretation by Nuage. Shuffling percussion and moody guitar chords set the framework for Fracture’s emotive, silky vocals. Both in tone and delivery, he matches Nuage’s deft production, allowing his voice to ebb and flow as necessary. It’s a song about being enveloped and ensconced in a mutual feeling and a relationship, and wanting to stay in that place. Simple, little details that make up a larger picture.
