‘Wheel of Life’, the second single off Omfeel's debut album, 'From Sunset', leads off with a repetitive piano melody floating atop moody piano chords and ambient pads. When a 2nd motif is introduced the song is propelled forward, reaching an apex as the two melodies meet, meshing beautifully and dancing around one another.

Omfeel recalls the inspiration for the song:

“‘Wheel of Life’ was written under the inspiration of pop - jazz style. It has an odd time signature of 7/8, which gives a feeling of endless movement, and the texture of the right hand piano creates a feeling of rotation in a circle, hence the name of the track, ‘Wheel of life’, was born. As we live our lives, we either go around in circles like a squirrel in a wheel, living through the same scenarios, only with different people, or we break ahead of all our inner prisons and limitations, recreated by our own minds.”
